Pickaway County Republican Central Committee Announces Civic Engagement Internship Opportunity
CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio - The Pickaway County Republican Central Committee is excited to announce a civic engagement internship opportunity for students interested in conservative government. The internship will require 6 to 12 hours per week and will start in August, running through the November election.
This internship is designed to provide an educational experience for students looking to get involved in government at all levels, from local to federal. The role will be located in Circleville, Ohio, at the GOP Republican headquarters. Remote hybrid options are available for interns.
Interns will be involved in various tasks related to civic engagement, including assisting with voter outreach efforts, organizing events, coordinating volunteer activities, and supporting communication strategies. This is a great opportunity to gain practical experience in a grassroots political organization through community involvement.
"As the youngest person elected to the Republican Central Committee I know how important it is to provide opportunities for young people to get engaged with party work and the conservative movement,” said Aaron Adams. “This vital constituency is the future of our party, and I am thrilled to lead the charge in reaching out to them."
"Most of my career I've worked recruiting recent college graduates to work in government roles. I am excited to help build an initiative like this in Pickaway County that not only helps mold the next generation of party volunteers but can hopefully serve as a feeder program for young conservatives into higher positions," added Central Committee member Craig Fleck.
Interested students can apply for the internship by contacting Craig Fleck at craigfleckgop@gmail.com or by applying through LinkedIn. Applications are due by the close of July 24. Don't miss out on this exciting opportunity to get involved in conservative government while making a positive difference in the community.
